Delete your Approch account
You can delete your account and the data linked to it at any time. Here's how, and what happens to your data.

01Option 1: delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Approch (app or website) and sign in
- Go to Me, then Settings
- Under Account, choose Delete account
- Confirm. Your data is erased and you are signed out immediately
02Option 2: request deletion by email
No longer have the app or can't sign in? Email us from the address you signed up with and we'll delete your account within 30 days: info@malegatechnovation.co.za
03What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, date of birth, gender, bio, interests and photos
- Your location data and visibility on the radar
- Your pings, smiles, matches and chat messages
- Your push-notification tokens and your login
Deleting in the app erases this immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days.
04What we may keep
- Safety reports you filed or that were filed about you, and records of bans, kept for up to 12 months to protect other users and prevent repeat abuse
- Information we are legally required to keep
